Karuna Yoga School and People

Paul Riddy jointly founded Karuna Yoga School (KYS) in the early 1990's to form an umbrella for teaching and for other yoga related activities. At that point the school had a physical base, which has since evolved into organised collaboration between teachers who have much in common in their practice and teaching of yoga. Within Southampton these are focussed around a teaching practice offering individual lessons, small group classes, and classes with a special focus eg pregnancy. Following the viniyoga of yoga, KYS tutors are committed to teaching others how to use yoga in a way which will support their day-to-day lives and future aspirations.
